Get to Know Phil Kesler

Phil Kesler knew at a young age that serving others was his calling. His mother was a special education teacher, a strong advocate for the homeless, and a role model of service. Phil did not enjoy grade school. Minor hearing loss led to late speech development and his second grade teacher wanted to hold him back. Phil’s mother believed in her son and advocated for him. Overcoming this obstacle, with his mother’s help, caused Phil to thrive. By age 12 Phil had obtained his Eagle Scout award. Phil excelled in high school in both extracurricular activities and academics. Phil received the Eli Lilly award which is a full academic and leadership scholarship to college.

Phil’s grandfather, a WWII veteran, practiced law for over 50 years and provided him a strong role model. Grandpa Phil worked hard to do right by people and help them navigate legal issues while never backing down. It was this example that led Phil to law school. Upon graduation Phil knew he wanted to be involved in litigation because he enjoyed advocating on behalf of clients. He knew he could never represent a large corporation or insurance company. He wanted to help regular people like himself take on bullies. Phil is proud to be a trial lawyer and proud of the results he has obtained for his clients.
